Reference to study back in 2012 suggested that laser therapy at 810 nm wavelength can significantly reduce pain and improve function of patients suffering from osteo-arthritis of the knee. The study compared laser treatments at different doses versus a placebo. Virtually all groups receiving the REAL laser treatments noted significant improvement but the group receiving the stronger does experienced the greatest relief.
